[Verified] Amos Doolittle, born in Cheshire in 1754, created the only accurate eyewitness engravings of the Battles of Lexington and Concord. He marched with the Governor's Guards to Massachusetts, inspected the battlefields, and interviewed minutemen who fought there. Known as 'The Revere of Connecticut.' - Library of Congress
